While drinking at the Jaded Skull, you are approached by the priest from the temple of Boccob. He tells you that a ceremonial chalice was stolen and if you assist him in recovering it, you will be rewarded. All of you agree, with the exception of Lanolin, and you go to investigate the scene of the crime.
Once there, you notice a set of muddy footprints leading from an open window. You follow the tracks to a sewer grate that is askew. You open the grate and descend to find three sets of tracks, two human and one smaller than human. As you follow them, the three sets become two, then finally one. You find the two murdered humans down separate side corridors. You continue to follow the smaller tracks until you reach a dead end with a ladder leading up to a trapdoor.
Slowly, J’Saahuis pushes open the trapdoor with his dagger and you see…
